TSE Training Sessions

The TSE training sessions cater for a wide range of abilities and ages, from novices to international age groupers. TSE is primarily a sports club and the programme of training sessions require a basic level of fitness and more importantly, the determination to complete from time to time the challenge of a multi-sport triathlon.

The following training sessions are available for Club members. Non club members are welcome to attend the sessions on a “come and try it” basis, except for the open water swimming sessions which are reserved for Club members only.

Sessions are led by the Club’s British Triathlon Federation qualified coaches and are structured so that athletes are able to work at their own level of ability.

The majority of club members are unable to attend all the TSE training sessions. It is advisable to use the sessions to focus on improving skills and to enjoy training with like minded people. Club members are advised to supplement their training with additional sessions in the week to fine tune skills and develop fitness.

Most of the sessions require a minimum base level of fitness. This enables the coaches to deliver challenging and enjoyable sessions for athletes of mixed abilities. If you believe that you do not meet the minimum levels then the coaches are happy to offer advice on basic fitness training to reach these standards.
